We then moved to a comfortable van to tour and experience a tasting at one winery, followed by lunch at a local restaurant (very much a local experience, though we felt welcome and well cared for as tourists). Then onto another winery focused on port wines. In all cases, the scenery was amazing, the wines unique and very tasty, and the staff knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. We were picked up in Porto and visited 3 quintas for tastings and lunch, and then were taken directly to our hotel. We used them again for the drive back to Porto a couple days later. Both cars were super luxurious, clean, and well-equipped. The guides were incredibly courteous, knowledgeable, and had great info and experience in the region. Would highly recommend!”
